When it's good a speedy, hollow, (primarily) left reefbreak with a nice channel to paddle out in. Works great with a SSE or E swell and a west wind if there must be wind. Rarely barrels but on the big days it will, starts breaking around 3-4 feet with a decent interval and will hold plenty of size. If you're out-back then the right can be super fast and fun but you'll usually end up caught inside on a big day.
August through November is prime time for hurricane swell but winter through the end of spring is the best for consistent quality swells. Gnarly cold in winter.
