Learning Outcomes:
At the end of the unit, the students can:
1. Identify the different forms of non-verbal communication and how these
meanings differ between cultures.
2. Display appreciation for the value of co-existing individuals with different
cultural backgrounds.
3. Demonstrate the ability to present the searched information with
enthusiasm.
After dividing the class into six groups, you must do the following steps:
a) Each group will select a particular region to work on. (Asia, Middle
East, South America, North America, Europe, and Africa).
b) Indicate at least 10 nonverbal cues manifested in their cultural
practices.
c) Include pictures and short clips from the web that portray those
cultural practices.
d) State the sources of your findings at the end of the presentation.
e) Present the output as part of our face-to-face session in GEC 5.
Your group output will be assessed based on the following criteria and
these are indicated in the rubric:
1. Content (40%)
2. Visual Materials (30%)
3. Overall Presentation (30%)
