OPENING CEREMONY SCRIPT

EMCEE:

Call to Order:

Jaden : We would like to request everybody especially the two factions to please prepare because a few
minutes from now we will start our opening ceremony.

Fiona : Again, We would like to request everybody especially the two factions to please prepare
because a few minutes from now we will start our opening ceremony.

INTRODUCTION:

Jaden: Good Morning everyone! We are here once again in another festival of strength, power and
camaraderie in this Intramurals.

Fiona: You are right Jaden! And It is our pleasure to welcome everyone to San Agustin Schoolyard
Montessori, Inc. as we celebrate the most awaited (Jaden and Fiona) INTRAMURALS 2022, with
a theme “ Sustaining Our Journey Towards Excellence”.

Jaden: Intramurals 2022 marks a milestone in San Agustin Schoolyard Montessori’s efforts to restore
normalcy in our school activities, while we continue to be cautious and maintain protocols for a safe
celebration we are hopeful that the worst of this pandemic maybe receding. This experience should
have given all of us renewed appreciation of the value and fragility of life. Hence, our theme for this
year’s Intramurals gives emphasis to achieve greatness not just today but every day particularly for
us pupils to push beyond what we have accomplished, in academics, in being of service to others,
and in all ways doing what is right. Let this year be a festival of a rebirth of this spirit of achievement
of rebuilding a better tomorrow and of rejoicing of life.

Fiona: You will also witness each team building harmonious relationship with everyone through showing
and sharing talents and skills and coming together to create stories of competition, inspiration,
determination, sportsmanship and friendship.

Jaden: Yes Fiona! And that is one of the reasons why our concept for this year’s Intramurals was inspired by
a very famous movie HARRY POTTER, Where – in the different teams will depict how the
characters of this movie strengthen their bond despite their differences in achieving excellence. Isn’t
it exciting Fiona?

Fiona: indeed exciting Jaden! So what are we waiting for?

Let’s meet the different Teams.

The Weapons of Greatffindor and SLYTHERIN’s VENOM

( SHORT PERFORMANCE)

We have the Team A the Weapons of Greatffindor with their coaches Teacher Claire, Teacher Elena
and Teacher Rika.

Jaden: We have the Tem B the Slytherin’s with their coaches Teacher Hanna, Teacher Lovely and Teacher
Lylan.
Fiona: And let’s not forget the Neutrals the Mighty Wing of Ravenclaw with this year’s organizers Teacher
Jayson, Teacher Crisly, and Teacher Mel and Teacher Bing.

OPENING PRAYER & PHILLIPINE NATIONAL ANTHEM

Jaden: At this juncture may we request everyone to please stand for the opening prayer to be Led by the
Grade 6 pupils

Fiona: and remain standing for the Philippine National Anthem, Ormoc Hymn and School Hymn.

In the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit AMEN

After the prayer

Glory Be to the Father and to the son and to the holy spirit, as it was in the beginning is and
ever shall be world without end AMEN.

Jaden and Fiona: Please be seated

WELCOME ADDRESS

Fiona : And now let’s listen to our highly esteemed school president for her words of
welcome. And this will be followed by the San Agustin Schoolyard Montessori, Inc.
banner raising.

OPENING OF INTRAMURALS:

Jaden: And to formally open the intramurals, may we have on stage again Mrs. Maria Fatima O. Cauba the
president of our school.

Jaden: And now the moment that we’ve been waiting for, (Jaden and Fiona) THE FACTIONAL
BANNER RAISING! We will see who will be the first one to raise their banner.

Are you ready Weapons of Gryffindor?

How about the Slytherin’s Venom?

I think our banner raising would not be complete without hearing your cheer.

Jaden: Yes Fiona! Gryffindor, can you give us some cheer?

Jaden: That was such an enthusiastic cheer!

We would like to request the representative for each team to please prepare. The starting point will be
at the gate.
