BELIEFS ON TEACHING
Pre-Teaching
I believe that students can learn without teachers,
but teachers cannot teach without learners. All learning
is outcome of a teaching effort, which is why it has
called Teaching-Learning Process. By this process,
teaching is giving lessons about a particular subject to
a group of learners. While learning is gaining knowledge
by studying, being taught and experiencing.
BELIEFS ON TEACHING
Post-Teaching
We all know that, classroom generally consists of a teacher
and a group of students. Teacher’s role should be like a
facilitator or a mentor. In this way, teaching-learning process
becomes smooth and students will be motivated and interested to
learn new things.
know this, I will teach this or in this way only. A good teacher
is always a learner. Keep learning.

My Wish List
I learned that we should always be calm and composed at all times. Being calm will
be one of the best way to have a well-organized manner. The reason for staying like
this is because having a mixed emotions will greatly affect the way you handle your
class, thus affecting students learning and the over-all instruction
I am excited about the feeling of teaching my own students and the proper/
planned way of teaching my students.
I am very much concerned about how I should handle my emotions well, but I do
feel that I can adapt and cope up with it throughout my teaching experiences.
I am afraid that if I messed up, my students will have their time, effort, and school
year wasted learning under me. That’s why I will give my best to give my all for
them and teach them well
Oh, how I wish that everything will work according tomy dreams and plan.

One of the best way to Increase students focus and attentions is engaging. During the
learning process, engaging students in the learning process increases their attention
and focus, motivates them to practice higher-level critical thinking skills, and promotes
meaningful learning experiences. In order to increase opportunities for student
engagement is to adapt a student-centered approach instruction as it helps everyone
in the teaching-learning process to become more and more successful in achieving the
course’s learning objectives. Engaged students also are more likely to perform well
academically, creating a culture of achievement in their classroom, developing
interactive and relevant lessons and activities, and being encouraging and supportive
to students are all ways in which teachers can foster student engagement in the
classroom.

As a future teacher, I will improve my teaching skills with the following tips. First, make
sure your lesson is ready. This includes my topic being well planned and with appropriate
examples, exercises, activities and homework. Second, involve students. This makes my
lessons interesting and relevant to the students. Use charts, drawing games, PPT and other
props / me to capture the senses of every student in a classroom environment. Third:
Motivate with examples and applications. Fourth, listen to my students. Listen to your
students' work, body language, mood, fear and excitement. Fifth, we need to enforce
discipline. You need to inoculate, not an injection. This means that punishment is a last
resort and students must be aware of the need to obey discipline. Sixth, give knowledge
and enjoy the privileges that shape your life. Looking at how to educate students into
educated and responsible citizens, I think there is an essential motivation to drive me to
excel and accept my profession. Finally, as a future teacher, I have the rare privilege of being
the surrogate parent of many who take care of me. It is also a big responsibility and I have
to deal with it with love.
For my dear future students I please you to listen well every instruction. You should
give your all/ best to be better and to improve yourself. Although some of your classmates
seems better, you must encourage yourself to be better as well. Always keep in mind that
not all students are the same, you don’t need to be someone or greater than anyone else.
Just be yourself and trust every process you are taking.

Assessing students with Exact is straightforward but before any student takes the test, the
administrator should familiarise themselves with the tests. Ideally, this should be done under test
conditions. To do this, the administrator should register as a student.
The ideal testing environment is one that is reasonably quiet, with minimal distractions. Ideally,
this should be a separate room, but Exact has been designed to be robust for use in the ordinary
classroom, provided visual and auditory distractions (both to the student being tested and to other
students in the class) have been minimised.
- Student preparation
Before testing, each student must be registered on Testwise. The tests can be done in any order
but it is usually best to start with word recognition, which students generally find quick and easy.
The computer speaks instructions, and each test commences with a practice or demonstration of
the task. When the student has completed the practice items, the test phase begins.
- Supervision
Where the teacher suspects that a student may not be motivated to complete the test, or may be
easily distracted, or may be performing deliberately below their capabilities, closer supervision
will be necessary.
During the test, the supervisor should avoid giving feedback to students, as this may have a
negative influence on their behaviour. There is a risk of feedback encouraging some students but
discouraging others. Nevertheless, some students (particularly younger children or children with
special educational needs) will try to elicit feedback from the supervisor.
