- El Monument als mariners i pescadors morts al mar (en letó: Piemineklis bojā gājušajiem jūrniekiem un zvejniekiem) és un notable monument modern i un lloc de turisme a Liepāja, Letònia. El van dissenyar l'arquitecte i l'escultor . Va ser construït el 1977 amb el finançament de LBORF i el kolkhoz de pesca Boļševiks. El monument està situat en la costa de la Mar Bàltica en el parc Liepāja i consisteix en una figura de bronze d'una dona situada sobre d'un pedestal en forma de V d'onze metres d'alt. El 8 d'abril del 2000 es va col·locar una placa commemorativa al pedestal, dedicada als pilots dels Estats Units els avions dels quals van ser abatuts el 8 d'abril 1950 per les Forces Aèries de l'URSS a prop de Liepāja. Fue construido en 1977 con la financiación de LBORF y los Kolhoz (organización comunista) de pesca Boļševiks. El monumento está situado en la costa del Mar Báltico en el parque Liepāja. Aquí, en el comienzo del siglo XX se encontraba localizada Kurhaus. The monument was designed by architect and sculptor . It was built in 1977 with a funding from LBORF and the fishing kolhoz Boļševiks. The monument is located on the shore of the Baltic Sea in Liepāja seaside park, at the end of Kūrmājas Prospect. Here in the beginning of the 20th century was located Kurhaus. The monument consists of a bronze figure of a woman on 11 meter high V-shaped pedestal, covered by Saaremaa dolomite. On 8 April 2000 a memorial plate dedicated to American pilots whose aircraft was brought down on 8 April 1950 by the USSR Air Forces near Liepāja was added to the pedestal of the monument. (en)

Na postumencie umieszczona jest tablica pamiątkowa poświęcona pamięci żeglarzy i rybaków zaginionych na morzu. 8 kwietnia 2000 roku na postumencie odsłonięto także drugą tablicę, dedykowaną zmarłej załodze amerykańskiego samolotu zestrzelonego w pobliżu Lipawy przez siły powietrzne Związku Radzieckiego 8 kwietnia 1950 roku.
