Barrett Chase has been web editor for the News Tribune since 2015, managing multimedia and online presentation with a foot in the door of news content. Prior to joining the DNT, he was co-creator of the website Perfect Duluth Day. A fourth-generation Duluthian, he makes sure new reporters don't accidentally call it Denfield and sees to it that everyone is aware that there used to be a statue in Canal Park made of papier-mâché.
