The press service of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry reported that the Center's opening ceremony was attended by Parliament members, Turkish Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Chengiz Kamil Firat, TIKA Program Coordinator in Kyrgyzstan Ali Muslu, and Deputy Health Minister Erkin Checheibayev and others.

At the ceremony on this occasion, wife of the Turkish President Emine Erdogan recalled that TIKA has implemented a project for reconstruction and equipping of 16 classrooms and special education workshops in eight institutions for special education in Mostar, Zenica, Tuzla and Sarajevo, in accordance with standards in the field of special education in the Republic of Turkey.
