Located 50 km south of Liège, in a thermal spa region, Spa-Francorchamps delights drivers with its layout which combines long straight lines and fast, technical curves.
This route, the longest of all current F1 circuits, winds through a green setting and over a more pronounced relief than elsewhere. It is also famous for the "Raidillon de l'Eau Rouge", a renowned sequence with a 40m climb at 17%.
