1. Find the equation of the line parallel to the line 3x+2y–8=0 and passes through the
midpoint of the line joining the points (5, –2) and (2, 2).
2. Find the equation of the line which passes through (4, 1) and is such that the portion

1:2.
4. Find the equations of the lines which pass through the points (4, 5) and make equal
angles with the lines 5x–12y+6=0 and 3x–4y–7=0.
5. Find the equations to the straight lines which pass through the origin and trisect the
portion of the straight line 3x + y =12 which is intercepted between the coordinate
axes.
6. Find the coordinates of a point on x+y+3=0 whose distance from x+2y+2=0 is √5
