SCRIPT FOR GRADUATION 2015

SHIRLEY: May I call on the graduates to assemble now. For a few minutes, the processional will begin.

BONG: Ladies and gentlemen.....the processional begins!

SHIRLEY: Approaching now are the Candidates for Graduation, together with their parents. Please give
them a warm-round of applause.

BONG: They are also followed by the Honor Students from Grade 7 – 9, also with their parents ..... our

Also, please give a hand to our PTA Officials and Guests headed by their GPTA President –
Christopher E. Templanza.

SHIRLEY: Honored Guest, our ever dynamic Public Schools Division Superintendent – Mr. Amando A. Zolina
.... our active Principal II – Mr. Gil U. De Mariano, Teaching Staff ..... to the very excited parents,
graduates, friends, ladies and gentlemen.....

BONG & SHIRLEY: Good morning to one and all!

SHIRLEY: “Magsimula ka, batiin ang kaygandang umaga ng may ngiti sa iyong mga mata.....” At last, it’s
finally here! The moment we’ve all been waiting for!

BONG: Today, marks another milestone of one’s life as we celebrate one of the most anticipated
occasions in a person’s life – GRADUATION.

SHIRLEY: To parents, it is probably the second most joyful moment in their lives after their childs’ birth.
For you Graduates, this occasion is a dream which comes true and a passport for the betterment
of your own life and for the greater good. Through your determination and sense of purpose, you
will surely succeed.

BONG: But graduation is not just a ceremony. It must not be misconstrued as a last step or final
departure from one path but rather a symbol of a new start to discover more and share more.
Graduation is a beginning hence also known as commencement, because we have to commence
from where we are.
SHIRLEY: Graduation therefore, is the turning point in your life. One false move, and it will mean falling
short on your expectations. It is now up to you how to re-build your lives again according to your
hopes and aspirations. You have to solve that mystery within yourselves and discover your
purposes in life.

BONG: For the moment however, it is a celebration time for all of us for hurdling the first phase of your
social life.

SHIRLEY: To all of us, who are witnessing this memorable occasion and to all the members of the
Graduating Class, we sincerely and humbly dedicate this 6th Commencement Exercises.

BONG: And to start with, let us all stand for the Homage to our Country to be led by Mrs. Celine D.
Misplacido - MT II & District Home Economics Coordinator. Followed by Kristine Aira Selorio for
the Doxology and singing of Aklan Hymn by Mrs. Nenita U. Villarubia – MT I & District MAPEH
Coordinator, conducting.

SHIRLEY: To give us her salutation, please give a warm applause to Mary Jane I. Isidro – Salutatorian, Class
2015.

BONG: The Presentation of the Candidates for Graduation by our School Principal – Mr. Gil U. De
Mariano.

(Graduates, please stand up.)

SHIRLEY: Let us go now to the Confirmation of the Candidates for Graduation by Dr. Jesse M. Gomez -
CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent. In behalf of Dr. Gomez, may we call on our very own
Public Schools District Supervisor – Mr. Amando A. Zolina for the Confirmation of the Candidates
for Graduation. (Please, remain standing....Thank you, Sir.)

BONG: Mass Pinning of Ribbons to the Graduates by their respective parents or guardians.

SHIRLEY: Introduction of the Commencement Speaker by Mrs. Jerely I. Diaz – Teacher III & TLE
Coordinator, Secondary Department.

BONG: Ladies and gentlemen ...... a big hand to Mrs. Kenneth Briones Revestir for her Inspirational
Message.

SHIRLEY: Thank you Ma’am for that very inspiring / meaningful / challenging message to the Graduates.
Awarding of Certificate of Recognition and Token to the Commencement Speaker by our Public
Schools District Supervisor - Mr. Amando A. Zolina, assisted by our School Principal –
Mr. Gil. U. De Mariano.

BONG: Let us now witness the Distribution of Diplomas by our Public Schools District Supervisor –
Mr. Amando A. Zolina to be assisted by our School Principal – Mr. Gil U. De Mariano.

SHIRLEY: We will come now to the Awarding of Medals and Ribbons to Honor Students and to Special
Awardees by Mr. Amando A. Zolina – Public Schools District Supervisor to be assisted by their
respective parents or guardians.

BONG: Please give a big round of applause now .... to the Valedictorian of Class 2015.... Sheryl Ann A.
Casusi on her Valedictory Address.

SHIRLEY: Graduates, you have just heard the Valediction of Sheryl Ann. Yes, happy are the faces of your
dear parents as they witness you cross this stage of fulfilment. Also us, your teachers and Alma
Mater whom you leave, for you have to face the next step of higher education. Dream and plan!
For you still have to travel an extra mile for the real challenge is still ahead of you. Face it ... move
on!

BONG: Pledge of Loyalty by the Graduates to be led by Rommel T. Serrano, President, Senior Class
Organization.

SHIRLEY: Let us now listen ... for here now are the Graduates for their Graduation Song.

BONG: Let us now witness The Turning Over of Diplomas to the Parents and Guardians by the Graduates.

SHIRLEY: Dear Graduates ...... “Iisa lang ang buhay mo, kumilos ka, gamitin mo. Kung may nais ang puso
mo, mangarap ka, abutin mo. Upang ito’y makamit mo. Magsikap ka, simulan mo.”

BONG: You are the Master of your fate.... You are the Captain of your soul. May our God in heaven
watch over you and bless you throughout your life. Be a competent and productive LTC ‘ ians!

BONG & SHIRLEY: Our congratulations and Godspeed!

SHIRLEY: We will come now to the second part of our program, the RECOGNITION. And to start with .....

BONG: Thank you Mrs. Yerro .... Ladies and gentlemen, may you find this occasion a time of reckoning
and a time of reflection – that the education you have is truly the kind of education that you
deserve and use it in creating a better world. Again, good morning to one and all! Magandang
Buhay! That ends our program. We thank you all for coming!
