Take a data (5 points) as per Set A (use only 3 digits rounded off) and obtain the interpolating
polynomial using Lagranges method, Newtons Divided difference method, finite difference
methods (forwards, backward, central, Sterlings and Bessels)
In the same data (in #1 above), fit a parabola using the least square method.
Write a program (MATLAB or any other language) for the Secant method and do an example to test
the program.
Write a programme (MATLAB or any other language) for the Graeffes method and do an example
to test the program.
Use the least square method to fit a quadratic polynomial to the data.
Generate orthogonal polynomials upto degree 2 for the set of data and obtain the second degree fit
using these polynomials. Compare this polynomial with the one obtained in #5 above.
