Graeme Blundell The Australian It’s an unsettling but distressing representation of what can happen to someone when it feels like all faith and hope and personal conviction have been taken away. Feb 25, 2023 Full Review Nick Hilton Independent (UK) Nothing about Your Honor is actively bad and yet the sum of those parts is frustrating and unsatisfying. Perhaps they should’ve followed the advice of all good criminals and quit while they were ahead. Rated: 3/5 Feb 6, 2023 Full Review Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) The show is straining, but it has entertaining diversions -- Hope Davis’s gangster matriarch is wildly unhinged. Jan 12, 2023 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba It's messy, all over the place, and creator Peter Moffat throws the whole kitchen sink at the screen. It's also impossible to resist given the amount of talent involved. Feb 22, 2023 Full Review Joel Keller Decider With a little bit less Cranston, a whole lot of confusing storytelling and characters that haven’t gotten any deeper than in Season 1, Your Honor‘s final season feels like an idea that was best left as just that: an idea. Jan 13, 2023 Full Review Emma Kiely Collider It’s grim, slow, and not as exciting as the first season, but Your Honor Season 2 paints an authentic image of grief, corruption, and the fight for power. Ted B 3.5 stars; This season delves more into the mobster family. The judge is even further "between a rock and a hard place" with his involvement with the mob. The Bryan Cranston role has become somewhat depressing. He does a good job with the role. But, it adds a level of darkness and overall it brings down the compelling aspect of the story. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/19/24 Full Review Audience Member Season One was very frustrating but it ended at a place where the series could have gone in many outstanding directions. I toughed it through hoping the writing would eventually catch up with the good performance Cranston put in. The first couple episodes show a glimmer of hope. The foundation for seasons of plot twists are laid. They decide to make Cranston's character a sock puppet who is being pushed along through the show through the will of a series of girl bosses. The series finale hits with the thud of a rotten watermelon. A "master class" of deconstruction where every item in the show that was built up is destroyed in very unsatisfying ways. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/18/24 Full Review Krista H Personally I liked season 1 a little more than this one but none the less it was just as incredible as I knew it would be. Brian Cranston delivers like no other actor. He’s amazing. I would have loved to see just maybe one or two more seasons. It was so so so good and absolutely worth watching Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/07/24 Full Review Chris O I didn't get the ending. Not as good as the first season. If it wasn't Bryan Cranston I probably would have bailed. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/13/24 Full Review Julie D I watched it all in a day! Looking forward to season 3! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/09/24 Full Review Ethan T I noted in the prior season that Cranston and Stuhlbarg were the best components in terms of compelling characters. Hope Davis does well in a role short of redemption. However, Cranston and Stuhlbarg are hamstrung by repetitive arcs and far too much occurring around them. Hammond and Machekanyanga are compelling in a gang narrative subplot, but I wish we could see their characters (especially Big Mo, who is lost on some kind of romance sideshow) do more.
