What to Know

Critics Consensus

Wisdom of the Crowd wastes a talented cast on a formulaic procedural crime drama that wavers between modest returns and unintentional laughs.

Chris Barton Los Angeles Times The series is playing with a lot of timely issues, but, at least based on the pilot, not with a lot of thought Oct 5, 2017 Full Review John Anderson Wall Street Journal How long Wisdom of the Crowd strings out its core investigation-the one about Mia-may make a difference in the show's shelf life, but the first week's digression, so to speak, raises the stakes. Oct 3, 2017 Full Review Brian Lowry CNN.com The reward for tuning in is modest at best. Oct 2, 2017 Full Review Joel Keller Decider While it's not an overall terrible show... its premise is just wrong on so many levels. Jun 23, 2020 Full Review Chris Cabin Collider Even if one were to ignore the absurd earnestness of the show, the total lack of irony, the series wouldn't even entertain as a parody of itself. Jun 23, 2020 Full Review Dominic Patten Deadline Hollywood Daily Crowd basically tosses a lot of the U.S. Constitution to the curb and mainly serves to splatter another one of those ugly, mean-spirited shows like 2015's cancelled Stalker on the small screen. Audience Member This show had a darn good cast and interesting premise. However, it needed something more for them, and Piven to do. He needed the writers to roll out the villain besides the bureaucrats at Allsourcer (a villain which didn't show after 13 episodes) to unleash Piven and team. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This series is clearly socially critical and serves all Left-liberal stereotypical viewpoints. Far too much for me, the only thing missing is that the series tells me that I am the problem as a white man. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member aNOTHER ORIGINAL IDEA, WITH A GOOD STORY THAT IS SOMETHING THAT COULD TRULY HAPPEN IN OUR TIME. i SWEAR THE GUYS WHO GET CANCEL SHOWS DON'T WATCH TV NOR DO THEY HAVE ANY REAL IDEA WHAT THE VIEWS LIKE AND WATCH. I don’t understand why more people didn’t enjoy the show. It’s not as good as NCIS, but it is kind of interesting.
