- Director
- Camera and Electrical Department
Marc is a director and producer, and is a co-founder of the company Moving Pictures Theatre (MPT).
Starting out as an artist and photographer, Marc was particularly drawn to landscape and portraiture. A love of storytelling prompted his move into film, developing a painterly style that has resulted from his past work as an artist.
Marc is fascinated by the changing world of both photography and film, and the possibilities offered by new technology. Alongside conventional filming, MPT has produced work and interactive experiences in immersive 360.
The first film by MPT, Time and Tide, was a trilogy of short films co-produced by Marc - who also directed one of the shorts, and oversaw the overall visual style - starring Greta Scacchi, John Locke and Samuel West. Time and Tide showed at festivals around the world and won awards including Best UK Short Film at the London Independent Film Festival and Best International Short Film at the Idyllwild International Festival of Cinema.
