New Delhi [India], Mar 9( ANI ): The Supreme Court on Friday rejected a PIL seeking a ban on
opinion polls conducted by various organisations, including the media firms.
January 16 is the 51st anniversary of the historic
Opinion Poll in Goa, the only referendum so far held in India.
The ruling Social Democratic Party remained at the top of the
opinion poll with support from 15.5 per cent of respondents, down from 17.2 per cent in April.
