History

The Fermilab History and Archives Project offers guided access into the laboratory's historical records for the research user or casual history student. These permanently valued government records are preserved and available for reference and research by both Fermilab and the public. Go all the way back to the lab's beginnings in 1967. Look through old photographs, look through virtual exhibits, read oral histories, use our finding aids, and read about the great science Fermilab has done under all our directors.
