Halle Berry has stated that she won't be playing Storm again in the upcoming Avengers films.
The John Wick 3 actor played weather-controlling mutant Ororo Munroe in four films between 2000's X-Men and 2014's X-Men: Days of Future Past, released by 20th Century Fox.
Although multiple actors from the Fox X-Men films are coming back for next year's Avengers: Doomsday (and possibly 2027's Avengers: Secret Wars), Berry says she won't be joining them.
At the CinemaCon red carpet, Berry was asked by Black Girl Nerds if her name would appear on a chair in the next reveal video.
"Keep waiting, 'cause it's not gonna be there," she said with a laugh. "It's not gonna be there."

She also told ET Online to "keep hoping", but gave away nothing more than that.
Berry might just be telling a few fibs about not returning, as MCU actors have famously done before, but the actor has admitted to having a sometimes-fraught experience making the X-Men films.
Until future announcements videos/the release of the film(s), all fans can do is speculate and, as Berry put it herself, "keep hoping".

So far, Fox X-Men actors who are confirmed to be returning include: Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Kelsey Grammer, and Rebecca Romijn.
Channing Tatum also returns as the X-Man Gambit, reprising his role from Deadpool & Wolverine, which is a Disney-produced sequel/send-off to Fox's movies.
The first four Avengers movies are streaming on Disney+, while Doomsday and Secret Ways are scheduled to release on May 1, 2026 and May 7, 2027, respectively.
