UCNS Moves to Virtual Proctoring for Initial Certification Exams

In response to ongoing feedback from certification examinees, the UCNS will provide a more flexible and user-friendly experience for physicians by implementing virtual live proctoring for initial certification examinations. Previously, all certification examinations took place at Pearson Vue testing centers. Full details available in the press release.

New Fellowship Training Program Accredited

Congratulations to the newly accredited Neurocritical Care program at AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida. Programs attaining UCNS accreditation status offer the core curriculum established by the subspecialty and meet required quality standards established by the UCNS. Accreditation is a voluntary process of evaluation and peer review based on UCNS accreditation standards. Fellows who complete a UCNS-accredited program meet the training eligibility requirements to apply for certification in the subspecialty. There are now 201 UCNS-accredited training programs in UCNS-recognized neurologic subspecialties.

Submit Articles for UCNS Continuous-Certification

The UCNS invites its certified diplomates and members of the subspecialty's sponsoring organizations to submit journal articles and/or practice guidelines that meet the submission criteria for the UCNS continuous-certification (C-cert) process. Deadline for submission is August 1. Get the details:
