The waves are formed by the swells coming from the west side of Rasdhoo Atoll. Usually it is a left hand point break. The waves are ideal for beginners to advanced surfers. It is one of the largest reef in Maldives and you will get many ranges of wave from 3ft-5ft. The waves are fantastic during most time of the year.
You can go to the location by boat or speedboat.
There are many guest houses at Rasdhoo, which is the nearest place to the surf break as it sits on the same geographical Atoll known as Rasdhoo Atoll.
You can anchor the boat on the lagoon.
Surfboards are available for rent from local surfers.
No surf school. But instructors work on freelance.
When there are no waves it is a spectacular place for scuba diving as it consists of well known dive sites. The reefs are a great place for snorkeling to experience the marine Habitats. You can hire boats for fishing trip or you can relax on the picnic island and sandbanks near Rasdhoo. If you are in to water sports the Local guest houses can arrange that for you as well.
