Ligandus[1] vocatur in biochemia et pharmacologia quaevis substantia chemica, quae ad effectum biochemicum pharmacologicumve dirigendum cum molecula idonea coniungitur. In coniunctione inter proteinum et ligandum, per exemplum, ligando coniuncto proteinum sic obsessum signum sive effectum dare potest.
