History

Marie-Anne Castagneri (1722-1787) was the daughter of luthier André Castagneri (1696-1747). In 1747, she established a music publishing business in Paris, on rue des Prouvaires, and often worked with other Paris-based publishers, including but not limited to Boivin and Le Clerc.
