1. verb, rude slang To complain or gripe about someone or something. Of course Marjorie is bitching about how I left dishes out in the kitchen—she's not happy unless everything is perfectly put away. I turned the thermostat up, so you all can stop bitching about how cold it is in here, thanks. Oh boy, which dead president is Grandpa bitching about today?
2. verb, rude slang To jumble up or ruin something. Boy, you really bitched this report—I'm not sure I can even fix it. Take your time so you don't bitch it up! Somebody really bitched up these files—they aren't remotely in alphabetical order anymore.
3. noun, rude slang A female who is deemed objectionable, perhaps due to rudeness or meanness. Geez, why are you being such a bitch to me today? That bitch at the counter said we're not allowed to be in here, can you believe it? A simple "no" would have sufficed—you don't have to be such a bitch about it.
4. noun, rude slang A complaint or gripe. I can't stand to hear another bitch about the state of my house right now. As a waiter, I eventually just got used to bitch after bitch from impatient customers. I worked really hard on this dinner, so if you've got a bitch, keep it to yourself, OK?
5. noun, rude slang One's girlfriend. She's my bitch—of course I love her! I'm single as can be right now. No bitch for me. A: "Who's the brunette?" B: "Matt's new bitch. I forget her name but I guess they've been going out for a few weeks now."
6. noun, rude slang Something that is very difficult or challenging, often causing annoyance or frustration. Do you have any tips for getting out a grass stain like this? It's a real bitch. A: "The train's running an hour late? Man, that's a bitch." B: "I know, I won't get home till after 9:00 now." I always thought meringue would be a real bitch to make, but it actually wasn't that bad.
