Kriminalistička filmska komedija

Kriminalistički humoristički film je podžanr kriminalističkog filma.[1] Jedan od prvih filmova iz žanra koji ga definira je Asfaltna džunglaiz 1950., za koji Film Genre 2000 kaže da je "gotovo jednom rukom popularizirao ovaj žanr u glavnostrujaškoj kinematografiji". Glavni likovi su pljačkaši čiji osobni propusti na karju dovode da pljačka propadne. Slični obrazac primijenjen je u Armored Car Robbery (1950.), The Killing (1956.) i The Getaway (1972.). Do 1990-ih su ovi filmovi "eksperimentirali i igrali se s ovim konvencijama" i više se usredotočili na odnose među likovima nego na sam zločin.[2]
