It appears that the {{book cover}} template no longer exists. -- Scarpy (talk) 22:44, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That template was moved to {{Non-free book cover}}. I fixed the dangling reference to the old name. AHMartin (talk) 15:12, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Using Amazon

[edit]

Amazon places watermarks on the top and bottom of its book covers saying "Copyrighted Material" making it a suboptimal source for book covers. Occasionally customers upload quality images without watermarks, but decent covers can be found throughout the interwebs. Authors' and publishers' websites often have quality images that can be used. No option for book covers during upload

[edit]

During the "Upload file" process, using the "Upload Wizard", there is no option for book covers. Only "titlepage of a book". The titlepage is not the same as the cover. There is no cover option. Have covers been deprecated? -- GreenC 14:35, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Followed up at Wikipedia_talk:File_Upload_Wizard#No_option_for_book_covers_during_upload a more active forum. -- GreenC 14:37, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
