Violates WP:NOT; this is a list of translations of Turkey (bird) into various languages. Wikipedia is not a translation dictionary. power~enwiki (π, ν) 00:04, 21 September 2018 (UTC)

- Delete If you want the word for Turkey in e.g. Armenian, then use a translator e.g. Google Translate, Babelfish. Not encyclopedic material. Joseph2302 (talk) 00:15, 21 September 2018 (UTC)

- Keep the concept, maybe not necessarily in this form. There are a lot of discussions in reliable sources about how the turkey's many names reflect its many possible origins and close attachment to many cultural traditions around the world, but this list isn't doing a very good job of discussing that. Here are some: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]. A lot of these might be "soft news"-type stories written up around Thanksgiving and Christmas, but the wide range of sources suggest that someone who's better at looking for it would probably find scholarly writing on the subject. The list as currently presented needs an awful lot of work. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 18:54, 21 September 2018 (UTC)
- Delete in favor of an article like Names_of_China, maybe called Names for turkeys or something. It makes more sense for it to be in article format rather than in list format. – FenixFeather (talk)(Contribs) 23:57, 21 September 2018 (UTC)
- Delete as above. Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 20:47, 22 September 2018 (UTC)
- DELETE Article should be deleted because WP:LISTCRUFT which it meets condition 6 and 10. Freetheangels (talk) 07:15, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
- Delete If List of names for turkeys is a valid entry, then don't be surprised when list of salmon, list of good morning, list of summer, list of alligator, etc. pop up, as there is nothing inherent special in turkey outside of North America. This might be a valid entry for Wiktionary, if sourced, as it deals with the dictionary definition of a name in other languages, but it has no encyclopedic quality (unless again, you believe that a list of anyword in all languages is worth while). --Gonnym (talk) 09:04, 23 September 2018 (UTC)
