Template position
Hi! I saw this edit. I'd thought about putting it at the bottom, but thought maybe not given some years are really long lists (example). I'm amenable to changes in the template or its position (maybe on the right?). I just wanted to get something on these pages. When you look at them without the template, it leaves you kind of stuck about where to go from there. If you want to see other years, you have to either come from Wikipedia:Successful_requests_for_adminship#Archives or change the address manually. --Hammersoft (talk) 16:57, 7 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Hammersoft, you bring a valid point with some pages being too long. I like the idea of putting it on the right side. If we are going to put the template at the top then I suggest adding noinclude "
<noinclude>{{Successful requests for adminships by year navbar}}</noinclude>
" so that the template doesn't appear in the middle of Wikipedia:Successful requests for adminship. We can also place the template at the bottom of that page. EN-Jungwon 10:38, 8 January 2022 (UTC)- Done! Thanks! --Hammersoft (talk) 14:26, 8 January 2022 (UTC)

Margaret Smagorinsky
You've given me instructions on editing the Margaret Smagorinsky draft page, but I have no idea of what you are talking about. So I can't do what you are asking, whatever that is. How does a page go from sandbox to published? It's not at all clear from how Wikipedia is set up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Psmagorinsky (talk • contribs) 18:20, 9 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Psmagorinsky, you can go to WP:SUBMIT and submit your sandbox which will get reviewed by a new page reviewer. It may take sometime for it to be reviewed as there is a long backlog of pages that need to be reviewed. EN-Jungwon 17:30, 18 January 2022 (UTC)
- This system is incredibly frustrating. I followed your instructions, and the system says there is no DRAFT page for the page I drafted, but I can see it on my computer. It's there. WP:SUBMIT tells me there is no such draft for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Psmagorinsky/sandbox/Margaret_Smagorinsky. But it's there. I know it, because I can see it. Please help me navigate this system. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Psmagorinsky (talk • contribs) 15:50, 21 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Psmagorinsky, another thing you can do is place {{subst:Submit}} on top of that page. Let me know if it works or not. EN-Jungwon 15:55, 21 January 2022 (UTC)

I appreciate your quick response and patience with my frustration, but I don't know what you mean by "that page" and placing {{subst:Submit}} at the top of it. Which page specifically? Deorphaning Peter Juni
I was curious as to why you removed the {{orphan}}
template from Peter Jüni [1]. When I look at the page information [2], it still shows that there are 0 articles linking to that one. Rather than revert, I thought I'd ask. I saw you with 4,000,000+ edits, so I figured you knew what you were doing. Or maybe your error rate is 1 in 4,000,000. Cheers. signed, Willondon (talk) 03:52, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @Willondon, there are actually 5 articles linking to Peter Jüni. You can check this at Special:WhatLinksHere/Peter Jüni. I don't see anything in the page information that says that there are 0 links to that article. I think have mistaken the "number of redirects to this page" which is 0. Thanks! EN-Jungwon 08:03, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
- Interesting, thanks. On the information page, I was looking at "Number of redirects" (which shows 0), and misinterpreting it. There are some subtle differences in the URL you gave (showing 5 links) and the URL on the information page. I see now that on the information page, the URL includes "&hidelinks=1". You learn something new every day. It's exhausting. Thanks again. signed, Willondon (talk) 08:13, 5 February 2022 (UTC)

CSD G13s
Hello, EN-Jungwon,
You are tagging stale drafts a day too early. You can find eligible drafts listed Category:AfC G13 eligible soon submissions. You need to check the page history because we are pretty strict about not deleting them early because some folks at Articles for Creation go through lists of stale drafts and "save" ones from deletion by editing them. Sometimes they can edit them pretty close to the 6 month mark and we've had to restore ones that were deleted prior to the 6 month deletion date. Thank you for your contributions though! Liz Read! Talk! 04:37, 12 March 2022 (UTC)

- @Btspurplegalaxy, I assume you are talking about the page title. I used the display title extension. You can place
{{DISPLAYTITLE:<custom userpage title>}}
anywhere on your userpage. If you want to hide the "User:" prefix then use{{DISPLAYTITLE:<span style="position:absolute; top: -9999px;">User:</span><custom userpage title>}}
which is what I use. I use my signature as the custom title so I placed{{DISPLAYTITLE:<span style="position:absolute; top: -9999px;">User:</span><span style="font-family:Brush Script MT"><span style="color:red">EN</span></span>-'''''<span style="color:silver">Jungwon</span>'''''}}
on my userpage. If you also want to do a similar thing then place{{DISPLAYTITLE:<span style="position:absolute; top: -9999px;">User:</span><b style="color:#8F2BDC; font-family:tahoma">''Btspurplegalaxy''</b>}}
on your userpage. You can see what it will look like on your userpage here. -- EN-Jungwon 09:34, 17 March 2022 (UTC)

Just enter the username of the user/ip you want to revert and this script will revert all their new edits (until they are blocked or until you close the tab that the script is running on). Draft:FAA Order 8110.37 categories.
I appreciated the deactivation of the categories. I was aware of the policy for user space. The policy makes sense for Draft spaces, but I was not explicitly informed, and presumed that the draftifying editor should know whether to deactivate them or not on the move. I acknowledge that NPPs have enough to do already.

Copyvio-revdel
Hi EN-Jungwon, you know how to revdel multiple unjoined revisions (looking at more than 10) at different days and timing, as I saw you did copyvio-revdel before hence maybe you know how to. Article concerned is Twenty-Five Twenty-One as I just caught one editor doing it on Business Proposal but the former article went uncaught till I digged through the user's contributions and find out that they did the same previously. This is the copyvio report from Earwig's Copyvio Detector tool for Twenty-Five Twenty-One. The copyvio is pertaining to the Episodes section where user just copy-paste from Netflix. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 12:42, 17 April 2022 (UTC)
- I went ahead to request copyvio-revdel using this
{{Copyvio-revdel|url=https://www.netflix.com/sg/title/81517168|start=1073070188|start2=1073070188|start3=1074308755|start4=1075417294|start5=107557407|start6=1076704378|start7=1076905097|start8=1078037856|start9=1078226737|start10=1079391851|start11=1082878043}}
which I believe was incorrect as you reverted it, hence able to provide insight on correct method and/or correct code? Thanks! — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 13:00, 17 April 2022 (UTC) - @Paper9oll I was going to request revdel but then realized that 403 revisions need to be hidden as all revisions from February 21 till your edit that removed the copyright violation will have copyrighted material so I'm not sure if it should be revdelled. Maybe you can ask Diannaa for assistance with this.
{{Copyvio-revdel|url=https://www.netflix.com/sg/title/81517168|start=1073070188|end=1083170986}}
this is the correct format for requesting copyvio revdel for that page. -- EN-Jungwon 13:12, 17 April 2022 (UTC)- @EN-Jungwon 403 revisions to be hidden is quite a lot, will ask Diannaa for advice. Thanks a lot! — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 13:16, 17 April 2022 (UTC)

Sung Si-Kyung
Hello Mr / Ms EN-Jungwon,
I see you reverted all my edits on the page of Sung Si-kyung and I am baffled:
1. Sung Si-kyung has started writing songs since his very first album; not just for himself, but also for other artistes, such as Johan Kim and KyuHyun. Songwriter = a person who writes popular songs or the music for them -- If you don't believe me speaking from a TEFL-trained (in London) teacher and a translator's point of view, this is the definition in Oxford Languages which belongs to Oxford University Press.
2. He has been a record producer and his major works include 【여기, 내 맘속에...】, 【The Ballads】, 【처음】, 【Winter Wonderland】and【君がいるよ】.
3. 축가 here means 'wedding song'. When doing translation, Word-to-word translation (or literal translation) is unacceptable, as it completely rejects the reproduction of its real meaning in that specific context. Moreover, you have to use English in the English way, not the Korean way. In English, it's called 'wedding song'. Please take a look at that source. That's in Korean. I'm pretty sure it is either translated by a software like Google Translate, or the author does not really understand how translation works, hence the word-to-word translation.
4. I am not sure of your intention of placing back the already non-exsitent URL of Purple Ocean Japan and deleted all the updated ones I added. Do you not check beforehand? Each of the links has different targeted audience.
5. There are a lot of posts on social media regarding fans witnessing the Interpark server crashed within seconds after the ticket sales started. https://www.instagram.com/p/CdDllm-vxgn/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
Please enlighten me. Thanks.Ja Celestial (talk) 18:25, 4 May 2022 (UTC)
- @Ja Celestial, please provide reliable to verify the information you added. That Instagram post is not considered as a reliable source. We don't need multiple links to official websites. One link is enough. See WP:ELMINOFFICIAL. -- EN-Jungwon 12:31, 5 May 2022 (UTC)

Need some assistance for the draft page publication that you contributed
Dear EN-Jungwon,
I just saw you updated one of my draft and I was wondering if you could help me on this to have my first success here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Jano_Garc%C3%ADa
I am trying to add links but I need some assistance on this, some of the references are speeches from that author in English:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbSia3jNQE4
as all the references in other languages, so not sure if it makes sense to link these international publications for this, for example this one is in French:
https://www.ojim.fr/hongrie-conference-mcc-2021/
And as he is Spanish, he has many publications in the most important newspapers there as he is one of the biggest leaders in liberalism in Spain:
https://www.vozpopuli.com/altavoz/cultura/entrevista-jano-garcia.html
https://www.abc.es/cultura/abci-jano-garcia-hemos-beatificado-estado-202112150107_noticia.html
https://www.larazon.es/medio-ambiente/20211224/utiwur3ypjcqbauclc5ei7moai.html
https://www.larazon.es/cultura/20211204/b7n67e3lw5deniiq3qketazzye.html
As today translators are embedded in the browsers, not sure if it would be desirable to include these references and citations in the draft page.
Also not sure what else is needed in order to publish the page once everything seems complete.
Many thanks in advance for help!Borjatarraso (talk) 09:29, 14 June 2022 (UTC)

- @Tirso Gutiérrez you can't go and remove a whole column of citations just because
"they are not complete and they are also very poorly added"
. You can try and add citations to the article and improve it. -- EN-Jungwon 17:22, 18 June 2022 (UTC)

Changing ARCHIVED Gaon links to Circle is unnecessary
I understand you're trying to be helpful, but there was no need to go to this effort to switch the monthly charts to the Circle Chart and then archive those links. The chart was Gaon when these monthly charts were published, and as I said in the edit summary in which I tagged you, situations like this (the pages going down, or being redirected to a new website with different URL coding) are why the pages were archived in the first place. There's no need to waste past effort for apparent present convenience or "improved" functionality when "url-status" being changed to dead achieves the same thing. Please do not change the links back here or on other articles where the Gaon links are archived. Retain archived Gaon links as the chart was Gaon then and just switch url-status= from "live" to "dead". It's that easy. Also, if you were implying with your edit summary ("ref for the sales") that the news source for the monthly chart of July 2022 did not contain the sales, it already did. It reported KMCA's provided sales figure verbatim. Ss112 07:39, 8 July 2022 (UTC)
- The same has been done on the Digital Chart. Stop this rebranding nonsense. Unless you know what Circle/Gaon's weekly "score" translates to (monthly streams?), there is no need to include it. It wasn't present previously but now the chart's rebranding makes you want to restore it? Please get consensus for its inclusion. Ss112 07:47, 8 July 2022 (UTC)

Help needed on disruptive user
Hi @EN-Jungwon, long time never bothered you. Could you please help to revert edits made by User:ClipType to Fearless (Le Sserafim EP) and Fearless (Le Sserafim song), this user kept disruptive editing in the pretense of copyediting, fixing grammar/spelling, and following MOS. They also kept quoting WP:OFTHESAMENAME which is clearly not an official guidelines nor policies, but opinions of certain editors, as stated clearly in the header of that page. In fact, this has been communicated clearly to them that WP:OFTHESAMENAME isn't an official guidelines nor policies but they still continued.
And fyi and non-related to Le Sserafim, user also tagged Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with POV tag per this revision while linking to a revision that is from 2019 (3 years back) by Bergeronp, which strangely has similar username to Bergeronpp which was blocked as sock per Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bergeronpp/Archive (not sure why the former username was blocked or included inside the reports), in the edit summary. A little bit suspicious behavior to dig out a revision from 3 years ago, hence I find this user actions to be very suspicious. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 15:09, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
