Hi 8^} My background is in human physiologic science and laboratory science, with a interests in music, psychology, and almost everything. I have worked in my fields of interest and have also taught others in a professional non-traditional college setting. I've been Dean of Education at a vocational school teaching multiple courses in paramedical career pursuits and have served my country in the USAF helping returned injured veterans during the Persian Gulf War era and helped to provide healthcare for their state-side families. I am permanently disabled from injuries sustained while on active duty. I'm also a devoted and enthusiastic Christian.
I speak English, a little Spanish and Latin, and read "Doctorese". On my better days I help my husband by taking care of our finances and other "paperwork" and small household chores. I try to stay in touch with family and friends (when possible...) and I do what I can to assist with the upkeep of our little home. I love to design and later redesign our interior environment.
I love music of almost all kinds and listen when the mood strikes me. The same is true of films and documentaries. I keep myself busy when I can sit up in my office chair with mind-stimulating games of all types from different sources at my desk PC and am trying to keep abreast of the features of up-and-coming technologies. Since I did not grow up with a Gameboy in my hands that means I read manuals often *grin*.
I have found Wikipedia to be a wealth of useful information on a plethora of different subjects. We refer to it often at our house. It's a rare thing for me to find that I know a fact to add to one of these articles that someone else has not found and added first, but I am a very detailed observer (for the most part) and hope to be of some help when I can with whatever I can, to help other Wikipedia users have the same positive experience with this project as we do.
