Users can suggest songs related to TV show or movie.[3] If approved, song will be listed on that page.[3] The songs' accuracy depends on votes given by the users.[3][4]

It was founded in 2005 and is based in San Francisco Bay Area, California, United States.[3]

On April 27 2021, Songtradr acquired Tunefind.[5]
