Er... is it okay to edit this? All i was going to do was do a seperate section for Salford stations. Salford Central borders Manchester city centre. Simply south 11:27, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Split slightly

[edit]

If nobody minds, i might split this template up slightly into current stations and disused stations, although i could do with some checking after in case i have missed any. Simply south (talk) 12:36, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

One could argue there already is Category:Disused railway stations in Greater Manchester so there is no need to split. OTOH, the very same category could be used to make sure the split is done correctly :-)

I've done it but have not had time to do the dashes. Can someone else finish this? Simply south (talk) 14:08, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Done (subject to an occasional typo....) --Jotel (talk) 14:32, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disused stations

[edit]

The disused stations list was getting unwieldy - it was occupying more height than the nine lists of open stations put together. There was potential for a further increase, since I don't think that the Wigan area has been checked properly; that might yield even more closed stas. Accordingly, I've split them off to Template:Closed stations Greater Manchester, in line with many other counties. --Redrose64 (talk) 19:36, 4 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
