Changed "Persian" to more specific terms

[edit]

Because of the confusion involved in the History of Persian Egypt article, I changed the word "Persian" to the more descriptive Achaemenid and Sassanid modifiers; hopefully, this will make the divisions between the three periods clearer. See Talk:History of Persian Egypt for more. Meta (talk) 23:00, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Classical antiquity?

[edit]

Classical antiquity in ancient Egypt? See: Talk:History_of_Egypt#Classical_antiquity? JMCC1 (talk) 14:52, 3 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Egyptian Museum, Cairo. Periods of Ancient Egypt.

Classical antiquity is not the Twenty-seventh Dynasty of Egypt , twenty-eighth dynasty, twenty-ninth dynasty, Thirtieth dynasty, ... Sasanian Egypt. What book or museum classifies it that way? See:

Periods in Ancient Egypt

Classical antiquity? Is Late Period and Greco-Roman Egypt.

Why does this template include a cleanup tag?

[edit]

Recently, a cleanup tag was added to this template by User:JMCC1. Is it necessary for this template to include this tag? Jarble (talk) 00:12, 9 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The template contains errors. I corrected them but they have reversed. The errors I explain here Talk:History_of_Egypt#Classical_antiquity? JMCC1 (talk) 15:00, 10 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
