This article was originally run through an AFD discussion closed as "no consensus" and after a a deletion review the article was deleted. Since that time, the subject has played professionally in the NFL and therefore surpasses notability guidelines and the article was created. I was one of the editors in support of original deletion and I have changed my posotion--I now support keeping this article. I have also restored the history of the edits for reference.--Paul McDonald (talk) 19:14, 31 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Stephen is listed as a defensive lineman (not end) on both the Bronco's signing annoucement and the roster page on Denver's official website. Speculation that his position will change to defensive end appears to violate WP:VERIFY, which states that "content is determined by previously published information rather than the beliefs or experiences of editors. Even if you are sure something is true, it must be verifiable before you can add it." Therefore, until and unless a source confirms this change, his position should not be changed to defensive end.
Additionally, since a defensive end is a type of defensive lineman, there isn't necessarily a reason to change Stephen's position here even if a source does confirm that he switches to defensive end. In that case, since he will have played both defensive end and defensive tackle, continuing to list his position as "defensive lineman" seems like it would be more accurate than anything else.
