Someone should really put the theme song for Opp Knocks on here. Actually, they should put both theme songs, one from the original version and one from the Bob Monkhouse version. Curvebill (talk) 20:38, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Discrepancies

[edit]

Arthurvasey (talk) 00:01, 21 May 2009 (UTC) There are a few major discrepancies on here - Royston Vasey (no relation to me, despite being born in the same town), aka Roy Chubby Brown, was on New Faces - he failed the Opportunity Knocks audition, as he said the word "arse" during an interview (according to his Wikipedia page).[reply]

Our Kid, Tammy Jones, Tony Monopoly and Sweet Sensation were also New Faces contestants.

The rules of both shows quite clearly stated that they must not have been on telly before - whilst it was OK to audition for both shows, you couldn't actually appear on both.

It's a little-known fact that one act that appeared on Opportunity Knocks was Cannon & Ball - but they were called The Singing Harper Brothers (one of them is called Harper).

Talent shows

[edit]

I hope that no one minds but I have added this to the category called "Talent shows", given that it was a well-known television talent show long before Britain's Got Talent. ACEOREVIVED (talk) 15:52, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Protection removal

[edit]

It's been six years since the issue that resulted in this page being protected. Isn't that quite long enough? 128.151.71.7 (talk) 16:08, 13 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
