I hate you

Hey, I just wanted to say that your last edit to Doctor Phosphorus was really informative. Well done! Iamanim poster 15:28, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Who is this?

Bad edits

Please, take some time to read Wikipedia:Naming conventions and Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics in order to avoid repeating bad edits as your recent ones. Regards —Lesfer (talk/@) 21:40, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why not let the Ray be the Ray? (talk)

Read Wikipedia:Naming conventions. —Lesfer (talk/@) 21:45, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please, leave the field blank if there is nothing to enter. Do not add "none". Read Wikipedia:WikiProject Comics/templates. Take some time to read WikiRules before editing. —Lesfer (talk/@) 21:50, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do NOT add "None" to SHBs

The template is coded to hide empty rows for a reason. - SoM 22:07, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What reason is that? Doesn't it make sense to add none to affliations if they have none? Brian Boru is awesome
Redundancy. If they have no affiliations, there is no reason to show the row, and every reason not to. - SoM 22:30, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Once again: Do NOT add "None" to SHBs

Is it too hard to understand? Do NOT add "None" to SHBs. Thank you. —Lesfer (talk/@) 03:40, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do not remove "N/A" from STBs

As you did in Young Justice. Check STB instructions. —Lesfer (talk/@) 19:53, 26 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Lets clear this up

I have 863 pages on my watchlist. I've made 583+ edits. Brian Boru is awesome 14:26, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jimothy Trotter I've been here longer than you. Brian Boru is awesome 17:14, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WSC to WSSh

Why the change of lists from wildstorm characters to wildstorm superheroes? is that more limiting in definition of who can be involved, especially considering that you have villians in the lsit and many of the SPB's could hardly be considered heroes? --Midusunknown 06:03, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wildstorm characters/superheroes

Please stop moving all Wildstorm characters to the category Wildstorm superheroes. I'm fine with the actual superheroes being moved to the subcategory, but you also moved characters who are in no way shape or form "heroes." Dizzy D 07:20, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Like what? User:Brian Boru is awesome 15:38, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sideways Bob, Tao (comics), Miss Misery, Evo (Wildstorm), Threshold (comics) and Ivana Baiul were all moved by you from Category:Wildstorm Comics characters to Category:Wildstorm Comics superheroes, while none of them are superheroes. Agent Orange (comics) and Jack B. Quick are kinda iffy as superheroes. Dizzy D 08:36, 2 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Nuklon

Good point, agreed. ;) —Lesfer (t/c/@) 17:03, 30 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Brian, regarding your user page

I'm sorry that you've felt inclined to add me to a watch list on your page. If we could have a discussion on the matter of divergent opinion, I would definitely be open to such dialogue. Regards. NetK 04:12, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You add unnnecessary categories to the members that already have their own article. Brian Boru is awesome 13:57, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Checklist

Brian, I'm not sure what your purpose is with the checklist, but it's not generally considered to be a good idea to maintain such a list of users on Wikipedia. They are felt to violate personal attack policies. I hope you will consider your usage of them. A discussion of a similar list and the feelings it created can be seen here, [1]. People to clean up after:[3] People to clean up after:[2] Retrieved from "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:CovenantD" CovenatD still that, even though that user's not making any contributions to wikipedia. What's the difference?Brian Boru is awesome 14:11, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Would you do the same with CovenantD?Brian Boru is awesome 14:57, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Give me more good reasons to delete it and maybe, maybe it's yes. It's easier to check up on what they're doing when I have it there. Brian Boru is awesome 15:50, 5 October 2006 (UTC) Okay I guess I'll delete it. Brian Boru is awesome 15:53, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Suicide Squad

The reason for the revert wasn't so much that I doubted the parody, but I was wondering what "haux faus" meant - I'm afraid the edit wasn't very comprehensible. In any case, from the description given at tv.com I'm not sure if it's a parody so much of the Suicide Squad as it might be the Dirty Dozen (from which the modern-day SS draws its inspiration). Any other allusions? --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 02:07, 6 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shadowpact heads up...

Minor revert going in to:

  1. Lessen the disparity the doubled blank lines between the team infobox and the article body have on the top of page. Seems substantially different from like pages.
  2. Remove the redundant links added. Both character have wikilinks in the 2nd paragraph of the article. Seems very silly to include a 2nd link in that proximity, if at all, unless it is stylistic policy to wikilink all characters in a bulleted list.

If I'm missing something here, please let me know. — J Greb 21:32, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair point... and thinking about it, you're right: making the list the links looks better than burying them in a paragraph. It just becomes a question of whether it's within acceptable style to link a later occurrence rather than the first one. — J Greb 02:03, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edits

Brian, can you check your preferences. I think you have the mark all edits as minor check box checked. That's bad practise, it can cause confusion for people who ignore minor edits on their watchlist. Minor edits are only really for spelling, formatting, obvious factual errors or reverting vadalism, see Help:Minor edit. (Forgive me for constantly referring to you as Brian, I'm unclear what your real name is.)Steve block Talk 17:56, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I made the same mistake a few months back. Easy to make, easy to fix. Stay awesome. --Chris Griswold () 22:10, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I kinda did that so I would remember which ones were mine and not. Brian Boru is awesome 22:13, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Talk:Doctor Strange

Yo, BrianBiA. I've put an anti-vandalism message at User_talk:199.176.183.15. He's made several vandal edits to this page. What say we delete the Secret Past section? It's just mindless ranting and serves no purpose. -- Tenebrae 18:10, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the head's up. I've put in a formal report at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. --Tenebrae 16:34, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
And you da man for catching that linkspam at Marvel Comics and DC Comics today. --Tenebrae 00:48, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Greetings

Brian - yes, the same. Good to see a fellow pilgrim here!

Hiding edits.

I've reverted over a dozen of your recent edits. Please stop hiding infobox edits under the usually easily ignored label of adding a category. Do multiple edits and label each, or use a clear label, like 'updated userbox, and added category'. Thank you. ThuranX 02:43, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Those edits were necessary: The SHB was updated weeks ago, and so these pages must be updated. I have reverted your changes. --Chris Griswold () 04:37, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
THose edits should have been done separately and given their own edit line. ThuranX 22:39, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It saves time if you do two things at once. Besides I hit two birds with one stone. Brian Boru is awesome 22:42, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

2¢ — I can see that doing 2+ minor things at once can be quicker... maybe having addressed both in the edit summary would have avoided confusion and wasted efforts on all sides? — J Greb 23:00, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Look at my edits first.Besides it saved people's work on better stuff. No one deleted the hidden lines in the superheroboxes anyway. See Template:Superherobox for more info. Also just check on the history anyway.Brian Boru is awesome 23:06, 26 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
