Hjartås is a village in Alver municipality, located in Vestland county, Norway. The village lies along the Herdlefjorden on the western coast of the island of Holsnøy. The village is a part of the urban area of Holme. The 0.52-square-kilometre (130-acre) urban area of Holme (which includes Hjartås) has a population (2019) of 944, giving the village a population density of 1,815 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,700/sq mi).[2]
