- The Green House (Maltese: Id-Dar il-Ħadra) was a late 19th-century vernacular townhouse in Sliema, Malta. The historic residence was an icon in the area, situated at the end of St Mary Street of which name of street derives from the niche on the façade of the building. The façade was notably characterized by its dark green colour which had made it a noticeable landmark. The niche of the Assumption of Our Lady, dated to 1875, is listed on the National Inventory of the Cultural Property of the Maltese Islands (NICPMI). At one point the building was in the parameters of the Urban Conservation Area (UCA), but this status was later retired. The house was demolished in 2019, and there are plans to built thirteen residences above street level and garages below ground in its place. The landmark niche has been requested, by the Planning Authority, to be incorporated in the new building. (en)

Ta historyczna rezydencja była dobrze znana na tym terenie; stała na końcu Triq Santa Marija, której nazwa wywodzi się od znajdującej się na fasadzie budynku niszy z figurą Matki Bożej. Jego fasada była charakterystyczna z racji ciemnozielonego koloru, co czyniło ją łatwo zauważalną. Nisza Wniebowzięcia Matki Bożej, datowana na rok 1875, umieszczona jest na liście zabytków w Sliemie (NICPMI). Kiedyś budynek spełniał kryteria Urban Conservation Area (UCA), które chroniły go przed wyburzeniem, lecz ten status został później wycofany. Dom został rozebrany w 2019, a na jego miejscu planowana jest budowa trzynastu rezydencji nad poziomem ulicy oraz garaży pod ziemią. Urząd ds.
