- The Revolutionary Communist Party (Spanish: Partido Comunista Revolucionario) was a anti-revisionist Marxist–Leninist communist party in Chile that existed from 1966 to 1984. The founders of the PCR belonged to (led by the Valparaíso senator ), a group that had been expelled from the Communist Party of Chile (PCCh), and the , another splinter group of the PCCh. The PCR was led by Jorge Palacios and David Benquis. The party would split in two factions, PCR and PCR-ML, in 1972 over differences in revolutionary strategy.After the 1973 Chilean coup, a faction of the party would exist in exil in France. In 1980, the RCP of Chile helped found Revolutionary Internationalist Movement (RIM) publishing the theoretical magazine " A World to Win " where the RCP of Chile made its last two participations in the 1981 and 1982 edition. Although the RCP of Chile would largely cease to exist by the time of the first RIM conference in 1984. Former PCR militants who sided with Albania during the Sino-Albanian Split would form the Chilean Communist Party (Proletariat Action) during the mid 1980s. The PCR published El Pueblo and Causa Marxista-Leninista. The PCR dissolved amid internal strife. One section of the party later reconstituted itself as the in 1985.
