The personnel of the Brazilian rock group Charlie Brown Jr. has changed several times. The group was founded in 1992 by Chorão on vocals, Champignon on bass, Renato Pelado on drums, and Marcão Britto and Thiago Castanho on guitars. Citing dissatisfaction with their extensive touring schedule, Thiago Castanho left the band in 2001 and they continued as a quartet until 2005, when the entire line-up departed following creative tensions. After a brief hiatus the band was reactivated with the new line-up of bassist Heitor Gomes, drummer André Pinguim and Thiago Castanho returning as guitarist. Pinguim and Heitor Gomes left in 2008 and 2011 respectively, after which Champignon and Marcão Britto rejoined the band alongside new drummer Bruno Graveto.
