David Ian Rabey is an Emeritus Professor of Theatre and Theatre Practice at Aberystwyth University. He worked there for 35 years, until he retired from teaching at the end of August 2020. He is the Artistic Director of (Gwir sy'n Llechu) Theatre Company for which he has written several plays including: Land of My Fathers (first performed 2018), Lovefuries (first performed 2004), The Battle of the Crows (first performed 1998), Bite or Suck (first performed 1997) and The Back of Beyond (first performed 1996).
