- Bundibugyo District is a district in the Western Region of Uganda, bordering the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). The town of Bundibugyo is where both the district headquarters and the seat are located.Before July 2010, the districts of Ntoroko and Bundibugyo were one. These districts are the only two in Uganda that lie west of the Rwenzori mountains. Bundibugyo (With Ntoroko) was first named Semuliki district on separating it from the district alongside Rwenzori district (Kasese) in 1974. (en)
- Bundibugyo es un distrito localizado en Uganda occidental, comparte fronteras con la República Democrática del Congo. Como otros distritos de Uganda, se nombra igual que su principal ciudad, o sea Bundibugyo. Durante los 90 más de 20000 personas fueron expulsadas de allí. El distrito se aísla relativamente del resto de Uganda, pues es el único ubicado en el otro lado de las montañas de Rwenzori, a su oeste. Esto implica que es biogeográficamente parte del río Congo. Los límites geográficos del distrito son: el río de Semliki al oeste, las montañas de Rwenzori al este y lago Albert al norte. Posee 2338 kilómetros cuadrados de superficie y una población de 212884 habitantes. Lo que da una densidad de 91 habitantes por kilómetro cuadrado.

- Bundibugyo is een district in het westen van Oeganda. Het administratief centrum is de gelijknamige stad Bundibugyo. Bundibugyo telde in 2014 224,387 inwoners en in 2020 naar schatting 263.800 inwoners op een oppervlakte van 848 km². Meer dan 27% van de bevolking woont in stedelijk gebied. Voornaamste talen zijn het Rwamba en het Rutoro. Het district ligt ten westen van het Rwenzori-gebergte en grenst aan Congo (Kinshasa). Het district is een deel van het koninkrijk Toro en werd opgericht in 1974 als het district Semliki. In 1980 kreeg het zijn huidige naam. In 2010 werd het district opgesplitst. Het ligt (deels) in het district. (nl)
