- Blefaroplastika (blefaron – řec. oční víčko), neboli plastika očních víček, je , jejímž cílem je odstranění vad a deformit očních víček a estetická úprava obličeje. Blefaroplastika řeší funkční a kosmetické problémy v oblasti (orbity) vyříznutím, odstraněním, přesunutím (nebo kombinací obojího) přebytků kožní a tukové tkáně. Horní víčka jsou častěji namáhána, a vzniká na nich tedy i větší kožní převis, po jehož odstranění dochází k odlehčení v oblasti očí. V případě dolních víček nejde tak o přebytky kůže, jako spíše o tukové prolapsy spojené s otoky a kruhy pod očima.[1] Operativním cílem blefaroplastiky je obnovení správné funkce postiženého očního víčka estetická úprava obličeje v oblasti očí. Obvyklá korekce nebo změna (nebo obojí) se týká horních i dolních víček a okolních tkání v oblasti obočí, nad , v horní části . (cs)
- Blepharoplasty (Greek: blepharon, "eyelid" + plassein "to form") is the plastic surgery operation for correcting defects, deformities, and disfigurations of the eyelids; and for aesthetically modifying the eye region of the face. With the excision and the removal, or the repositioning (or both) of excess tissues, such as skin and adipocyte fat, and the reinforcement of the corresponding muscle and tendon tissues, the blepharoplasty procedure resolves functional and cosmetic problems of the periorbita, which is the area from the eyebrow to the upper portion of the cheek. The procedure is more common among women, who accounted for approximately 85% of blepharoplasty procedures in 2014 in the US and 88% of such procedures in the UK. The operative goals of a blepharoplastic procedure are the restoration of the correct functioning to the affected eyelid(s) and the restoration of the aesthetics of the eye-region of the face, which are achieved by eliminating excess skin from the eyelid(s), smoothing the underlying eye muscles, tightening the supporting structures, and resecting and re-draping the excess fat of the retroseptal area of the eye, in order to produce a smooth anatomic transition from the lower eyelid to the cheek. In an eye surgery procedure, the usual correction or modification (or both) is of the upper and the lower eyelids, and of the surrounding tissues of the eyebrows, the upper nasal-bridge area, and the upper portions of the cheeks, which are achieved by modifying the periosteal coverings of the facial bones that form the orbit (eye socket). The periosteum comprises two-layer connective tissues that cover the bones of the human body: 1.
* the external layer of networks of dense, connective tissues with blood vessels, and 2.
* the internal, deep layer of collagenous bundles composed of spindle-shaped cells of connective tissue, and a network of thin, elastic fibres. The East Asian blepharoplasty procedure differs from the classic blepharoplasty. In younger patients, the goal of the surgery is to create a supratarsal fold ("double eyelid surgery") whereas in older patients the goals are to create or elevate the supratarsal fold and to resect surplus eyelid skin ("Asian bleparoplasty"). - Blefaroplastia é uma cirurgia estética destinada a remover a pele enrugada e descaída das pálpebras superiores e/ou inferiores. À medida que a pessoa envelhece, a pele perde alguma da sua gordura e grande parte da sua elasticidade, tornando-se flácida e com rugas. Este processo, que pode ser acelerado pela perda súbita de peso, faz com que as pálpebras fiquem salientes. A remoção da pele em excesso - acompanhada de - tem por fim melhorar a aparência do indivíduo. Na blefaroplastia superior, remove-se, do centro de cada pálpebra superior, uma dobra horizontal de pele, de modo a que a cicatriz corra ao longo de uma prega natural. Na blefaroplastia inferior, a incisão é feita abaixo das pestanas, de modo a que a cicatriz fique na zona de sombra das mesmas e se prolongue obliquamente, de modo a parecer uma ruga de expressão. A intervenção é realizada com anestesia local ou anestesia geral em regime de e demora de uma a três horas. Inicia-se pela marcação, seguido da infiltração com anestésico e adrenalina. Com o bisturi, retira-se o fuso de pele e, em alguns casos, também uma faixa de músculo orbicular dos olhos. As bolsas de gordura, que estiverem em excesso, são aparadas e fecha-se a incisão com sutura com linha fina (nylon ou seda). Após a cirurgia, o utente sentirá ardor e terá equimoses e uma tumefacção ao redor dos olhos. Estes serão cobertos por um unguento antibiótico para evitar a infecção. Aplica-se também gelo sobre os olhos para reduzir a tumefacção e as equimoses. O primeiro desaparece, normalmente, ao fim de três dias, e as equimoses por volta das duas semanas. Os pontos de sutura são removidos três a cinco dias após a cirurgia e as cicatrizes tornam-se inaparentes ao fim de seis a doze meses, na maioria dos casos. Nas pessoas com propensão para a formação de quelóides, estas podem se manter, pelo que a consulta pré-operatória deve avaliar esse risco. (pt)
