Anders Josef Europaeus (21 November 1797 – 24 May 1870) was a Finnish priest and vicar. Europaeus studied in Turku where he was influenced by the early Fennoman movement. Following his appointment as vicar in Liperi in 1832, he developed a folk education and library system. Europaeus was a member of a committee that planned new ecumenical law for the Grand Duchy of Finland. He took part in the Diet of Finland (1863–1864) as representative of clergy. Europaeus was married twice and he had altogether ten children.
