- 2023 Pakistan Super League (also known as PSL 8 or, for sponsorship reasons, HBL PSL 2023) will be the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League, a franchise Twenty20 cricket league which was established by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015. PCB chairman Ramiz Raja announced plans to introduce an auction to replace the draft for the 2023 version of the tournament. PCB is likely to increase salary caps for the players and introduce a hybrid Auction/Draft model where teams will be allowed four retentions and four rounds of auctions, with the remaining 12 players picked through a draft process. The tournament is scheduled to take place from 9 February to 19 March 2023. (en)
