General Description
Super consistent, breaks all year round. Works best from 2 to 5 feet. Closes out at 8 feet. Best from mid to high tide. Wind can make it choppy after 11 am. Great wave to practice small tubes for intermediate surfers. Waves are ideal for shortboards in the range of 5 to 6 feet, boogie boards and SUPs smaller than 8 feet. Not appropriate for longboarding.

How to get there
Only 20 kms from El Salvador International Airport. Drive about 4 kilometers in the Airport Hwy. going to San Salvador. Turn left on detour to San Luis Talpa. When you get to this small town, do not continue on road to Libertad. Turn left and drive straight to the very end of the road where you will see the landmark Hotel Rancho Estero y Mar.
Where to Stay
Only luxury lodging is at Hotel Rancho Estero y Mar. Camping is not recommended, but rooms are becoming available at private homes.

Most secure parking is at Hotel Rancho Estero y Mar.

When its Flat?
The place can get windy and choppy but it never goes flat. Other activities are bicycle riding, hiking at the volcanoes and Stand Up Paddle at the nearby mangrove rivers.
