Biography articles added March 2021
[edit]I've added a lot of potential articles to the list, mostly biographical and less WP:RECENT. I've tried to limit those who are have/had a national profile, and there should be significant coverage in WP:RS if sought (usually magazines, books and newspapers, since trying to source online information on South African subjects seems difficult, until they die). Nonetheless, if someone feels that any of the entries fail Wikipedia:Notability, feel free to remove them from the list.
I decided to add these to the list because of the case of Karima Brown, whose article was nominated for deletion, despite her high profile and general notability. It seems a lot harder to get SA articles through despite WP:WORLDWIDE. If we can develop a consensus around notability with this list, we are less likely to see SA biographical articles nominated for deletion immediately after creation.Park3r (talk) 04:22, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
