short hollow barreling left a lot like bingin in bali, but thicker and not as shallow. needs lots of swell to even break. (10foot plus at ujung bocur = 2ft+ here)

Needs a VERY large SW swell to break, due to the coast line and in shore topography. SW swells occur June to Aug. Rest of the year the swell is mostly southerly.

Atmosphere

Very weird getting to know when it works. Sometimes it just doesnt happen or is small fat and sloppy even though conditions are right and it seems plenty big enough..then it turns on for an hour or two that day, then back to shit again. then an other day a smaller swell will be good here.(not tidal and not period or swell direction)
I have been on 5 trips to the area and getting surf everyday requires you to know when each break will be working.

General

fickle short and small but sweet and fun. only breaks about 5-10 times each dry season, really good about twice.
Didn't get bigger than head-high the whole time i was there for four months.
The right across the other side is even more fickle.

Also you had better be prepared to surf everything from 8' to 3' ... otherwise you will miss out.
