Here the beach break is very similar to Playa Carmen, a popular beach in the area, but peakier and with hollow barrels. It works on both high and low tide and in all swell sizes. Best conditions on west/southwest swell.
Santa Teresa has a longer beach and, with a good swell, many different spots start to peak including La Lora and Roca Mar.
The break is on the Niccoya Peninsulain near the lively town of Santa Teresa.
