Antique Appraisal
Bring your antique/collectible item for a free appraisal to the St. Louis County Depot at 506 West Michigan Street, Duluth, Minnesota. The St. Louis County Historical Society has arranged for Denny Mager of Northern Specialty, an expert in antique appraisal, to be at your service beginning at noon in the rotunda, which is on street level. Registration is in person only and cut-off at 2:30PM, so the appraiser can finish appraisals by 3PM. You may bring up to two items per person for an informal oral identification and evaluation of each antique.
LOVE Gala
New Hope For Families invites you to their 5th annual LOVE Gala at the Pike Lake Golf & Beach Club. The LOVE Gala is an amazing night out for a great cause! New Hope For Families is a Minnesota nonprofit serving foster kiddos and families in the Northland. We exist to create a community of support for all adoptive and foster children and families.
Lake Superior Live Cruise
Relax on Lake Superior during a casual weekday sunset cruise featuring rotating live local musicians onboard the Vista Fleet. Weather permitting, we will cruise ‘around the horn’; through both the Superior entry and Duluth canal along the picturesque Park Point on Lake Superior. A BBQ picnic dinner is included to enjoy during this relaxing ride. Dinner includes pulled pork sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, chips, and a cookie. Join us for an evening of serenity, music, and delicious dining on the serene waters of Duluth.
Mr. Wonderful (Fleetwood Mac tribute band) + NVR TGTHR | Live Music in The Yard!
NVR TGTHR is an all-caps band for all-caps times, and they’ve got no time for vowels, either, dammit. Formed by a few Duluth, Minnesota scene vets alongside a couple fresh(er) faces, NVR TGTHR is a fivesome that brings the dark-pop quiet storm from a sometimes-dark place full of frequently-loud storms. Mr. Wonderful – same awesome NVR TGTHR musicians – along with Kaylee Matuszak – different flavor. Mr. Wonderful will be playing all your favorite Fleetwood Mac tunes. Folk It Up: A Folk-Themed Cabaret
Stage 2 Theatre Company kicks off their 2024-2025 Season with Folk It Up: A Folk-Themed Cabaret, which will run September 20-22 at Dudley Experimental Theater. A range of performers will perform a range of songs that were never new, and never get old. Solos, duets, and group numbers will accompany acoustic instruments and social dances. Come along for a fun and care-free evening of folk music that is FREE to the public!
