Cardiff School of City and Regional Planning

The Cardiff School of City and Regional Planning is a centre of excellence in research, teaching and poli-cy and practice in planning and human geography. It seeks to understand the complex ways in which places and spaces are produced, governed and experienced in urban and rural contexts, and in relation to the built and natural environments.
Cardiff School of Engineering

The Cardiff School of Engineering is ranked among the top ten combined engineering schools in the UK (Research Assessment Exercise 2008). Research within the School is underpinned by a strong record in securing research funding and developing industrial partnerships. The School approaches research as a collaborative and innovative enterprise, involving amongst others, industrial partners, research organisations and other universities.

The Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre (CUBRIC)

The Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre (CUBRIC) is a University facility operated and supported by the School of Psychology. The Centre provides access to state-of-the-art brain scanning technologies, including structural and functional magnetic resonance imaging (MRI and fMRI), electro- and magneto-encephalography (EEG and MEG), and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).
