Planned use	This property will be connected to a web service scheduled to launch next month. The web service provides various identifiers for papers, authors, and institutes. The KISTI institute ID will be used to identify research institutes in Korea, and users will be able to view other identifiers associated with the institute when querying it through the service.

Motivation

The KISTI institute ID is a unique identifier for research institutes in Korea, issued by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI). KISTI provides highly reliable data, but currently, there is no property in Wikidata for this identifier. To improve the accuracy of information on Korean institutes and enable better data integration, I propose the creation of a property for the KISTI institute ID.   @ZI Jony: I think it would be fair to first try to encourage discussion e.g. by pinging some relevant WikiProjects (Organizations, East Asia) and only after that assess whether the proposal has gotten support or not.
