Roche (VTX: ROG) has appointed Lara Bezerra as managing director for Roche Products India, Money Control reported on Tuesday.
In a statement, the company explained that she will succeed Maturin Tchoumi, who has moved to a new role at Roche Finland.
Bezerra will join the Indian unit following a successful assignment as general manager of Roche Venezuela.
She has more than 24 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having held various leadership positions across geographies, including Europe and Latin America.
Head of Roche Pharmaceutical Asia Pacific Region, Christiane Hamacher, explained that Bezerra's experience makes her ideally positioned to drive the company's efforts and goals of bringing its innovative treatments to patients in India.
